Chef Raheem Sealey is ready to open Shiso in Wynwood on Friday, March 28. His new spot is an Asian smokehouse that mixes Japanese cooking methods with Caribbean flavors. The result’s a menu filled with artistic mixtures like sake-glazed creamed corn, sticky ribs with furikake, and oxtail gunkan.

Sealey is thought for main the kitchen at standard wood-fired Asian restaurant KYU and American barbecue spot Consuming Pig.
