WEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Development closures started on Monday night time for work on FIU’s new pedestrian bridge.
Officers stated Southwest Eighth Road in West Miami Dade will probably be shut down at 109th Avenue between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday night time.
Crews will probably be assembling the assist beams for the brand new span.
The brand new bridge will substitute the one which collapsed in 2018 throughout building, killing six individuals.
The challenge is slated to be accomplished within the fall of 2026.
