PINECREST, FLA. (WSVN) – Authorities have recognized the suspect in an assault on a girl strolling in Pinecrest earlier this week and are actively looking for him, police mentioned Friday.

In line with the Pinecrest Police Division, detectives decided that 25-year-old Michael Angelo Figueroa-Hernandez is the person chargeable for the March 3 assault within the 13000 block of Southwest 69th Court docket.

The assault occurred round 7:30 a.m. Monday when a person on a lightweight blue bicycle, carrying a purple shoulder bag, approached a girl from behind, bear-hugged her, and touched her inappropriately, in accordance with police.
